The Carnegie Room has a queen bed, mission style furniture, three windows overlooking the front veranda toward Cumberland and Amelia Islands, with views of the river and east marina. Sleeps 1 or 2 guests.
Named after Andrew Carnegie, a true "rags to riches" story, known as the richest man in the world in 1901 for revolutionizing the steel industry during the railroad expansion and building 3,000 public libraries; was a guest of the Riverview Hotel most likely on one of his last visits to his family mansion, "Dungeness" on Cumberland Island, before passing away in 1919.
